FRANK B. "SATCH" PAGE, JR.

76, passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2008 in Stamford.

Mr. Page was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut on October 26, 1931, the son of Francis and Nellie Brady Page. He was a graduate of Stamford High School and served in the United States Army during the Korean War.

Frank retired from the City of Stamford after many years and was also a route man for Sealtest Milk and was the owner of SatchMows Landscaping in Stamford for 20 years.

He was past president of the Springdale Fire Company and most recently served as the Financial Secretary. He was also a member of the Springdale Fire Company's Drum and Bugle Corp. Satch enjoyed driving the 1933 Buffalo fire engine that entertained many Stamford youth at parades and fire department activities.

He is survived by two sons, Frank B. Page III and his wife, Danielle, of Monroe and Terrence Page and his wife, Lisa, of Norwalk; a daughter Megan Henion and her husband, Gregory, of Beacon Falls; a sister, Helen Falsani of Shelton; grandsons Ryan, Zachary, Colin and Kyle Page and Shane and Cooper Henion and granddaughters Katelyn Henion and Riley Page, as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a sister, Mary Page Aloi and his wife, Carole Berlingo Page.

Friends may call at Leo P. Gallagher Funeral Home at 2900 Summer Street, Stamford on Friday, April 4, 2008 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

A mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Cecilia's R.C. Church, Newfield Avenue, Stamford.
